A great 'village' pub in an historic town where you can have a beer and a meal without hassles. The locals were friendly and the black beer was fresh and cold! Undergoing some refurbs and looking like they want to keep an old pub a pub and not chrome it with stainless steel and make it a soul-less lounge bar. A pity more places aren't still like it. Will definitely go back when next in this part of the world.
