Visiting obscure country pubs is a bit of a hit & miss affair, but I hit a bullseye with this little gem. Liza, the licencee, greeted us with a genuine smile and an old fashion country " Howyagoinguys".
The locally employed bar attendant provided excellent bar service and was "easy on the eye" to boot.
I dined on the chicken parmigiana and my mate had the grilled fish with lemon butter sauce. Both meals were way above expectations.
Beer was the best iv'e savoured in Grafton.
Highly recommended.
The Royal will be my new local away from home.

Stopped in on our way up the highway, loved the food and hospitality. The garden area was great for the kids and the lunch was spot on, right price and excellent quality. Recommend this place for friendly staff and great atmosphere!
