Hi, my partner and I dropped into your pub on Sunday the 10th of Feb for lunch. I regret to say that the meals were not what we expected. My partners chicken schnitzel had to be sent back as were were having trouble cutting it with a steak knife. The replacement was much better thank you, the original went to the bar staff we saw. My biggest complaint however was the make up of the ploughman's lunch.
It was more of a cheese platter than a lunch. Cold meats = salami and kabana. Pickled onions = cocktail onions, anti pesto = pesto from a jar. cheese was good at least and the bread was 2 small slices off of a french loaf toasted. Sorry but that was not a ploughman's lunch. Anyway I see you have just taken over and I wish you every success, I hope you can sort your kitchen out soon.
