My dad and grandparents drank here in the 1950s...and with the help of the Sunday Mail and some amazing research by Darrel Webb, we've solved a beer-based mystery that has been intriguing me for ages.

If it's still open, I'll pop in for a drink one day, although it is just over 10,000 miles away...but if the beer's any good...

I just would like to say that my parents used to own this hotel a few years ago when I was young and I remember some really good times.
there is nothing better than a good old Country Pub.
