The rural community of Ultima is 30km away from Swan Hill, a town on the Murray river and border of New South Wales and Victoria with a range of tourist attractions from a pioneer settlement to a giant Murray cod!
The Ultima Hotel provides a convenient base to visit Swan Hill and the rest of the attractions of the Mallee region. It is a large hotel with a range of accommodation options and shared facilities, soon to include a kitchenette for guest use. Rooms are available short to long term, enquire for long term rates.
Nightly rates start from a bargain of $15 per person per night, bed and breakfast for $30 pp pn or the full package of a hot meal at night, bed and cooked breakfast for $45 pp pn.
The newly re-opened kitchen provides meals from 6-8.30pm from Wednesday to Sunday, lunch can be booked by appointment.
There are specials nearly every night, Wednesday a steak is just $15, Thursday you can pick up a parma for $10, Friday is fish n chips night for only $7, and traditional roasts on Sunday are $10.
The bar has a TV for sports and hosts regular events and the hotel also boasts a large function room named Racca's, after the resident ghost who has been witnessed on the premises! Call for bookings and availability.
